Why I’m Starting Moxie Revival (And Why You Might Need One Too)

I didn’t plan to become the poster girl for “chronic pain with a side of herbal tea.”

But when your body throws a plot twist like a desmoid tumor—painful, rare, and rude as hell—you either sink or sprout. Moxie Revival is what happens when I decided to sprout.(Slowly… very slowly. With sarcasm.)

Desmoid tumors aren’t cancer, but they sure act like it—with pain, pressure, and the charming ability to make basic life tasks feel like a boss battle.

Treatment has left me foggy, fried, and deeply over it. Meanwhile, the career I’d poured 20 years into—graphic design—was making my pain worse just by sitting down to work.

Cute, right?

Somewhere between the depression, the pixels, and the spiraling, one word started echoing:

Moxie.

That fire. That edge. That gut-level grit you summon when you’re sick of shrinking.

Moxie Revival is my reset. My rebellion. My “nah, I’m not done yet.”

...like a phoenix rising, emerging renewed and stronger

Expect realness.

Expect ramblings.

Expect rituals, or routines, that sometimes work and sometimes don’t—but always come with heart.

Whether I’m learning about herbs, throwing shade at my tumor, or writing from the middle of a flare-up, I’m here.

Healing messy. Living loud. Swearing occasionally (albeit more often then not).

If you’re navigating your own version of the hard, welcome in. You don’t need to be “fixed”—you just need some damn moxie.

With grit & green tea,

Angie
